What is lipofilling?
Lipofilling consists in using part of the own fat for breast augmentation. It is an increasingly widespread procedure, based on the addition of adipose tissue combined with rich in stem cells material: SVF – Stromal Vascular Fraction Cells and/or to PRP Platelet Rich Plasma. Lipofilling is the forefront in breast augmentation techniques. Thanks to the use of biological material, this operation can increase breast volume while maintaining a specific naturalness to the sight and the touch.

To whom is lipofilling?
Lipofilling has many applications: patients who underwent a mastectomy, who want to change the artificial prosthesis or who want to increase the breast dimensions can take into consideration this procedure. However not all women can undergo breast augmentation by using fat tissue: it is important to value thoroughly the patient's anamnesis to confirm the suitability for lipofilling.
What are the characteristics of the operation?
The breast augmentation with fat tissue starts with a liposuction whereby it is obtained the necessary adipose tissue. The tissue is enriched with SVF -Stromal Vascular Fraction Cells and/or to PRP Platelet Rich Plasma collected from the patient, that are used to enhance the natural resorption. The patient must know that, although the treatment with SVF/PRP limits this effect, the adipose tissue is susceptible to a partial resorption, expecially during the six months following the operation.
